We’re all caught up in the modern routine, spending more time inside than we’d like to. Yet, every meal offers a delightful reason to escape, find a spot outdoors, and soak up the goodness of both our food and the world around us.
We’ve created functional spaces for Uber Eats users to enjoy their meals in different outdoor locations.
After placing an order in the Uber Eats app, nearby Uber Eats branded billboards will unlock into functional dining furniture for users to sit down and enjoy their meal outside. Dining al fresco is now über convenient.
My Role: Concepting, strategizing, mock-ups and art direction.

Experiential OUT-OF-HOME: unlockable billboards
Eating al fresco, no matter where you are.
After placing an order in the Uber Eats app, users can unlock Uber Eats billboards into functional dining furniture and enjoy their meal outside.
The billboards will not be limited to tables and chairs, but also fold down picnic blankets for use in public parks as well.

The billboard locations will be pinned in the Uber Eats app, and through the use of location data, users can see the estimated waiting time for a table.
Link the Weather app to Uber Eats to stay up-to-date with the current weather and plan the perfect al fresco day.

We take to the streets to find out where New Yorkers like to eat.
We’ll ask people on the street where their favorite place to eat in New York City is, and invite them to enjoy it at an Uber Eats table or picnic blanket.
